Brooke grew up in rural Maine before moving to New York to study Jazz Piano Performance at SUNY Purchase, graduating in 2020. During her studies, she balanced performing throughout New York and Connecticut with teaching a large roster of private students at Long Ridge Music Center. Brooke joined Jazz Empowers as an intern in 2022 and now serves as Curriculum and Operations Manager. She continues to teach privately and collaborates with rap, R&B, and jazz musicians in the local music scene.
