The Jazz Empowers Jazz Band Director Cohort is a free online community for K–12 jazz educators designed to provide the resources and training directors need to teach jazz more effectively. Members receive access to monthly professional development sessions and Jazz Empowers’ free on-demand resource website featuring over 40 masterclasses led by world-class jazz educators. Directors also gain access to chart recommendations, warm-ups, improvisation materials, rehearsal resources, and other classroom-ready tools designed to help build stronger jazz programs for students. Participation is completely free, and directors can join simply by signing up online.
